Circulating petitions to legalize marijuana at First Fridays

The photo was shot at 1st Street & Roosevelt which the cops call "Marijuana Corner" because we circulate our petitions there every month on First Fridays.

There are two groups trying to legalize marijuana in Arizona.

The evil MPP or Marijuana Policy Project is circulating petitions for it's phoney baloney law to legalize marijuana which is 99% about creating a government monopoly on recreational marijuana for the 85 or so existing medical marijuana dispensaries.

Their law will only allow a maximum of 160 retail marijuana stores in Arizona. But we suspect that only the existing 85 or so stores which currently have permits to sell medical marijuana will actually be given permits to sell recreational marijuana.

Those stores will continue to sell marijuana the rip off price of $300 and ounce.

The good guys are AZfmr or Arizonans for Mindful Regulation who have a law that will allow up to 1,600 retail recreational marijuana stores in Arizona.

Rain & Dave are part of that group.

If the AZfmr law is pass, an ounce of marijuana shouldn't cost any more then a 6 pack of beer, and certainly not the rip off price of $300 and ounce that the medical marijuana dispensaries want to sell it for.

OK, I know police officers can pretty much rape any woman they want and get away with it, but I didn't know that also applied to prison guards.

Maybe we should also see if we can put on a presentation showing the differences between RAD (Relegalize All Drugs), MPP (Marijuana Policy Project) and AZfrm (Arizonans for Mindful Regulation).

We have workshops, panels, and speakers discussing issues relating to racial justice and injustice. More than 30 community organizations will be present. Friday, Feb. 26th is Opening Night at the Phoenix Youth Hostel and Cultural Center from 6PM-8:30PM. We will have vegan Navajo food and performances by Rashaad Thomas, Shiloh Ashley, and MysticBlu.

The Forum and Festival will be held Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 27th and 28th from 8:30AM-5PM each day. Free coffee and bagels will be provided in the morning and free lunch and music will be provided as well.

Scott Henderson is the reason I no longer support Amnesty International.

About 2 years ago I volunteered to help Scott Henderson for a fund raiser he put on for the Tempe Amnesty International and ASU Amnesty International at Kiwanis Park in Tempe.

Instead of thanking me for helping him, Scott Henderson accused me of stealing a volunteer t-shirt one of his helpers gave me.

Scott Henderson literally ripped the t-shirt off of my body, and also ripped off a "volunteer" arm band I was given.

Based on that Scott Henderson seems to be a bully just like the bully dictators Amnesty International writes letters to.

As long as Amnesty International allows bullies like Scott Henderson to operate local chapters of Amnesty International, I don't want anything to do with AI.

Scott Henderson never apologized to me for his outrageous behavior.

Presidential Primary Elections Don't Count???

In Arizona, irregardless of who wins of the Presidential primary elections the political parties, i.e. Republicans, Democrats and Libertarians tell the Arizona Secretary of State which candidate they want to on the Arizona primary Presidential election ballot.

A perfect example of this is the Arizona 2000 Libertarian Presidential Primary election. In that year the Arizona Libertarian Party was having a feud with the National Libertarian Party.

Harry Browne won the Libertarian Primary election in Arizona, but because of the feud the Arizona Libertarian party told the Arizona Secretary of State to place L. Neil Smith as our candidate on the ballot.

In that year Harry Browne was the Libertarian Presidential candidate in all the states, except for Arizona in which had L. Neil Smith as our Libertarian candidate.

When I was involved with the Libertarian Party we told the state of Arizona that we didn't want them to waste our tax dollars having Presidential primary elections that didn't count.

And because of that they stopped wasting our tax dollars having phoney baloney Libertarian Presidential primary elections which don't count.

The Republicans and Democrats should do the same.

Now this is only true about Presidential PRIMARY elections. All the other primary elections for Federal and state offices do count.

The Libertarian Party's position on this is that because primary elections only benefit the political parties, that each political party should pay the cost of holding their primary elections.

If other parties did the right thing like the Libertarian Party did, Independent's wouldn't be bitching about about not being able to vote in Presidential Primary elections.

I dropped out of the Arizona Libertarian Party because of that feud. A guy named Peter Schmerl from Tucson created the Arizona Libertarian Party Incorporated or ALP Inc as we called it and used it to take over the original ALP by suing us.

My group the ALP won the initial lawsuits, but we lost in the appeals courts and we didn't have the financial resources to appeal it to the Supreme Court.

While I still am registered to vote as a Libertarian, I never have supported ALP Inc and won't have anything to do with the ALP Inc.

When little Jimmy confesses about problems in his family life it gives Father Johnson some inside information that he can use to get a some biblical love from little Jimmy.

Say Father Carter gets caught stealing money from the Sunday collection by Susie. Well Susie has been to confession a number of times with Father Carter, which gives Father Carter some inside information he can use to blackmail Susie from snitching on him. And if Susie snitches on Father Carter, Father Carter has so good inside information he can use to discredit Susie.

That's what confession is all about power and control.

Light rail pork comes to South Phoenix!!!!

At first I was surprised because in the current light rail system the areas that serve minorities along Washington and Jefferson streets have a lot less light rail stops then the more affluent areas that serve White people.

There are no signs telling people where to check their guns or even admitting that people should be allowed to check their guns.

The Arizona law that requires the government to check weapons when they are banned from a government location is 13-3102.01.

The operator of the establishment or the sponsor of the event or the employee of the operator or sponsor or the agent of the sponsor, including a public entity or public employee, is not liable for acts or omissions pursuant to this section unless the operator, sponsor, employee or agent intended to cause injury or was grossly negligent.

D. For the purposes of this section, "public establishment" and "public event" have the same meanings prescribed in section 13-3102.

ARS 13-1502.A.1 ONLY applies to trespassing and says:

1. Knowingly entering or remaining unlawfully on any real property after a reasonable request to leave by a law enforcement officer, the owner or any other person having lawful control over such property, or reasonable notice prohibiting entry.

With Paul Johnson the words "Open and Honest" are an oxymoron

The last time I read an article about Paul Johnson, he was using his connections as former Phoenix Mayor to get contracts from the city of Phoenix to build government housing for poor people.

And of course there was NOTHING open and honest about how he uses his connections to get the contracts. It was all about knowing insiders in the Phoenix government.

I have always hated Paul Johnson because when he became a Phoenix City Councilman he was from Sunnyslope, which was where I bought my first home in.

Paul Johnson always seemed to worship former Phoenix Mayor Terry Goddard, who is another crook I hate.

Phoenix Mayor Terry Goddard taught me a lot about politics.

I was a dumb naive person who worshiped him too. I voted for him because of the lies he was slinging to get elected. Of course as I watched Phoenix Mayor Terry Goddard over the years I discovered that like most politicians he is a liar that will say anything to get elected.

Bill of Rights null and void on Federal property???

On Sunday as I was walking down Central Avenue in from of the Border Patrol building I noticed these signs posted in front of the Border Patrol building which more or less tell us serfs that the Federal government thinks the Bill of Rights in null and void in all government buildings.

The Border Patrol is also called ICE for Immigration & Custom Enforcement, and I call it La Migra, which is Spanish slang for the BP.

The building is at 2035 N Central Avenue, which is just north of McDowell in Phoenix.

Oddly there is no sign on the building stating that the US Border Patrol has it's offices in the building. I bet that is very intentional.

The signs say the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Amendments of the Bill of Rights are null and void.

The first sign says no guns or weapons flushing the 2nd Amendment down the toilet.

The first sign also says no cameras or tape recorders flushing the 1st Amendment down the toilet.

The second sign quotes a bunch of silly and unconstitutional rules from USC 41, Sections 102-74 Subpart C.

On the other hand the initiative which Safer Arizona backs, which is the AZfmr initiative will actually legalize marijuana.

It will allow up to 1,600 recreational marijuana stores.

Most of the crimes in the AZfmr initiative are be petty misdemeanors, with a $300 fine, as opposed to the numerous FELONY charges in the MPP initiative.

The AZfmr initiative isn't perfect, but it's thousands of times better then the horrible MPP initiative.

Of course on the unlicensed black market you can by marijuana for $50 an ounce which is one sixth the price set by the licensed and regulated cartel of 85 or so medical marijuana dealers. The more I read about NAU student Steven Jones the more I think he is being framed by the NAU Police (which is operated by the Arizona DPS) for murder.

Jones’ attorneys argued that the case should be sent back for reconsideration because prosecutors presented misleading and inaccurate testimony and omitted key information from one of the four victims.

I used to work with an electrical engineer who was a cop in the LA metro area city of Garden Grove before he became an engineer.

I didn't know there are exceptions in Arizona's DUI laws that make it legal.

I'm a little bit oxymoronic when it comes to driving while stoned.

First I think it is stupid to drive when your stoned. Mainly because there is a higher probability that you will get into an accident. Although I do admit it's much safer to drive stoned on marijuana then on alcohol.

But on the other hand I think it should be 100% legal to drive when you are stoned.

1. If it was legal for people to drive stoned, they would drive much safer, instead of trying to fake it so they don't get stopped by the cops.
2. You own your home and are allowed to get stoned it it. You also own the roads, and you should be allowed to drive stoned for that reason.

No DUI charges for marijuana metabolites in Arizona

Despite the fact that Prop 203 specicaly says a medical marijuana patient can't be arrested for DUI because they have marijuana metabolites in their body, the police not wanting to end the "War on Drugs", which is really a "jobs program for cops" have continued to arrest medical marijuana patients for DUI when there is no evidence whatsoever that they are driving stoned, solely because they have marijuana metabolites in their body.

According to this article the Arizona Supreme Court says those arrestes are unconstitutional and that the police must stop arresting medical marijuana patients for DUI simply because they have marijuana metabolites in their bodies.

I have discovered that somebody in the city of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department has been spending our tax dollars to post signs that cite and imaginary laws that doesn't exist and use it to run homeless people out of Phoenix Parks.

Oddly this isn't new, my Libertarian friend Ricky Duncan discovered a number of other signs in Phoenix Parks which cited imaginary laws which the tyrants in the Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department were using to terrorize people they dislike.

I would be terrified to report a murder to the police because they would probably attempt to blame it on me if I did report the murder.

ARS 36-2802.D Operating, navigating or being in actual physical control of any motor vehicle, aircraft or motorboat while under the influence of marijuana, except that a registered qualifying patient shall not be considered to be under the influence of marijuana solely because of the presence of metabolites or components of marijuana that appear in insufficient concentration to cause impairment.

3) Law that limits light rail fare to 5 cents or is that 25 cents or a quarter.

Most modern cell phones will allow you to record the location of any photos you shoot by embedding meta tags which contain the GPS location the photo was shot in the photo's files.

A few months back software billionaire John McAfee made the news on this issue when he was a fugitive and was releasing photos to the media.

I just discovered that one of my Facebook friends is a cop that works for the Phoenix Police.

Here name is Julie Smith and here is a photo on her Facebook page which says she works for the PhoenixPolice.

The photo I found on her Facebook page says she is a Detective with the Phoenix Police. She works with the LGBTQ Liason and Gay Camp.

While in this case it is pretty obvious that Julie Smith is a cop you should assume that ANYBODY you meet on the Internet is a cop.

And for that reason you should NEVER, NEVER, NEVER mention any thing illegal on the internet, even if it is a victimless crime that hurts NO one.

I will usually vote for an atheist any day of the year over a religious person, because I know they won't be passing laws forcing their religion on me.

A long time ago I sent James Woods a message on Facebook asking for his position on the "War on Drugs" and on legalizing marijuana. I was kind of p*ssed because he never responded to my message.

Since James Wood didn't respond to my message I suspect he is one of those politicians who will try and keep REAL positions secret he thinks it will cause him to lose your vote.

I call those people hypocrites. I don't know if James Wood is a hypocrite or not. But he never responded to my questions, so I am guessing he is a hypocrite.

I also think that James Woods is against the Second Amendment and wants to take our guns away from use.

He mentioned something along those lines at either a Phoenix Freedom From Religion Foundation meeting or a Phoenix Americans United for Separation of Church and State (Phoenix AU) meeting.

An just because James Woods has sun glasses on in this photo, it doesn't mean he is a druggie. James Wood is blind.

U.S. Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema is the only other atheist I know in govenrment.

I am not too happy with her either because when she was a member of the Arizona legislator she tried to flush Prop 203 or Arizona's Medical Marijuana Act down the toilet by slapping a 300% tax on medical marijuana. That attempt failed.

U.S. Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema says she supports decriminalizing marijuana, but I think she is lying because of the tax she tried to slap on medical marijuana.

I used to know U.S. Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema when she was an anti-war activist, but it looks like she has sold out the cause since she got elected. While she talks like she supports the little guy she consistently votes to support the police state and military industrial complex.

U.S. Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema is also a big time gun grabber who would love to flush the 2nd Amendment down the toilet.
