Gun grabbers on Phoenix City Council are taking away our guns on Valley Metro buses.
Maybe 10 or 15 years ago Valley Metro used to ban guns on all Phoenix Area buses.
I am not quite sure what happened, but I think somebody threaten to sue Valley Metro because they didn't check passengers guns, and that caused them started allowing guns.
Arizona law requires governments to check a persons guns if they forbid guns in a place.
And of course it would be pretty difficult for Valley Metro Bus Drivers to check a persons guns when when they get on and off of buses.
I suspect the gun grabbers on the Phoenix City Council have said f*ck the Arizona law and that they are going to ban guns despite the fact that the bus driver can check guns.
I noticed this sign banning guns on the city of Phoenix Valley Metro bus number 6313. I think it's the 70 bus route which goes on 24th Street in Phoenix to Glendale Avenue and then out to Glendale.
Under Arizona Law ARS 13-3102.01 governments are required to check a persons weapon when they ban weapons.
