A friend of mine went to several medical marijuana dispensaries in Tempe. One of them was:
SWCThe SWC Medical Marijuana Dispensary is at 2009 E. 5th Street #11, which is near Smith & 5th Street. It's in an industrial park. If you go there at night you might not feel safe. There are two building in this industrial park, a front building on 5th Street and a rear building. The SWC medical marijuana dispensary is in the rear building. If you are collecting signatures to legalize marijuana and they don't want you near the dispensary it will be pretty easy for them to kick you out and prevent you from getting any signatures. If they tell you that you can't come on the property, the street is probably 50 yards a way and will be impossible to ask people that come to the dispensary to sign your petitions. As you get near the dispensary it reminds you of a police state. There are cameras every where. There are signs that say No HatsWhen you get inside there is a big sign in the waiting area that says Tempe has a law which only allows one patient per station. It would be interesting to get a copy of the Tempe laws passed relating to medical marijuana. I bet they really f*ck up things. I think that Tempe law requires one salesman for each customer. Man governments sure have a way of f*cking up things and making things more expensive. Again you have to wait out side and to get into the area where they sell the medical marijuana. Once there is a salesman available, then you are allowed into the sales area. Again, only 1 customer is allowed in the area with one salesman. So you just can't go in there an look around. If there are 10 people in line ahead of you you have to wait for all 10 people in front of you to finish their business before you are allowed into the sales area. Man if this is Kathy Inman's dream world of how legalize medical marijuana I don't want anything to do with it. It sucks. I prefer a Wal-Mart or Circle K where you walk into the store pick up you stuff want and to go the cashier and buy it. Not these worthless medical marijuana dispensaries where you have to wait for a high pressure salesman to help you. |
