Congratulations! You’ve been accepted for 2nd Friday Night Out’s event Pirates Block Party
September 9 from 6-10 PM
There will be a talk likea pirate contest, costume contest, walk the plank fun for kids, a showing of Zootopia in the sliver lot, and lots more. 2nd Friday also features lots of live local bands plus sweet treats, refreshments, entertainment, music, food, and 50+ artists showcasing original artwork!
Here’s what you need to know…
§ Arrive between 4:30-6:00 at the OneOhOne Gallery (101 W. Main, Mesa, 85201) on the SW corner of Main and Macdonald for your space assignment. To insure the quality of the event, spaces are assigned as artists arrive to eliminate empty spots resulting from someone who cancels. Everyone will get a great spot and we will do our best to accommodate your requests.We’ll be looking for YOU on 2nd Friday Night Out!§ The event runs from 6-10 PM
§ Spaces are free for artists showing original artwork but we ask for a “pay what you can” donation to keep the event happening each month.
Spaces are $55 for vendors, those selling ready-made merchandise, and those wishing to promote a service, cause, or non-profit organization.
§ Spaces are 10 x 10
§ Bring your own table, chair, displays, and optional canopy. It is recommended that you bring a lamp or desk light or spot to light your display or table. You will need an extension cord but there is power at all the spaces!
§ Painters do not need a city tax license but the city has asked me to in form you that others should have a city sales tax license. We will ask you to sign in with your tax license number, name and address.
§ In respect of others, please no smoking in the booths or music (unless you are an approved musician for this event)
§ The best part? This is YOUR event. Because this is your event…run totally by volunteers…we count on you for any donation you can make to help with advertising, permits, insurance, printing, etc. Please donate what you can when you arrive for your booth assignment.
§ Remember to sign up again each month! Registration opens the Saturday following each event.
