A friend of mine went to several medical marijuana dispensaries in Tempe. This one was: M.E.R.C.The M.E.R.C. Medical Marijuana Dispensary is at 1811 E Southern, which is on the southeast corner of McClintock and Southern in a strip mall. Unlike the other medical marijuana dispensaries, it's not in an industrial park and you probably will feel safe there during the normal business hours of the dispensary. If you are collecting signatures to legalize marijuana and they don't want you near the dispensary they have two options. If they kick you out of the strip mall it will be almost impossible for you to get any signatures. The street is probably 20 or 30 yards from the store. If they tell you you can't stand in front of the store, you can probably move to one of the stores to the right or the left of the dispensary. The M.E.R.C. Is another example of how f*cked up the medical marijuana industry. The M.E.R.C. Isn't even a medical marijuana dispensary. They don't carry their products in this store. You just order your stuff either on line or at the store and then pick up it later. Their actual store is a few miles from this place. And the ordering process is the same at this store as it was at the other stores. You can't just write up and order and say this is it, give it to me. You have to wait in line until a high pressure salesman is available and then place the order thru the salesman. I suspect the same silly Tempe law is in effect at this store as at the SWC Medical Marijuana Dispensary. Only one person is allowed with one salesman at a time. Again, it sure is amazing how governments can f*ck things up and make costs rise with silly regulations like this. Again if this is an example of Kathy Inman's wonderful world of medical marijuana I think it suck and don't want anything to do with it.
