I guess the answer is the investor drive phoney baloney initiative to legalize marijuana, legalized it just enough for the corporations to sell small amounts marijuana to people on the street.

But not enough to fully legalize growing and selling marijuana for anyone.

And the reason for that is the corporations with the monopoly on growing and selling marijuana want to have the cops arrest and jail anyone who cuts into their outrageous profits margins.

If we are going to legalize marijuana RIGHT we need to send the creeps from the Marijuana Policy Project back to Washington D.C. where they belong with all the other government criminals and simply repeal ALL the laws that make it illegal for people to use, possess, grow or process marijuana.

DEA conducting raids in El Paso County

Law enforcement officials execute a warrant at a home near Peyton.

The Drug Enforcement Agency is conducting drug raids in east El Paso County as part of a state-wide operation focusing on illegal marijuana grows. According to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office, deputies are assisting the DEA with the operations.

Investigators also raided dozens of homes and warehouses in the Denver area.

Authorities say officers from the North Metro Drug Task Force and Drug Enforcement Administration agents were targeting locations from as far south as El Paso and Elbert counties on Thursday and have made several arrests.

Officials say traffickers have been moving from other states to seek safe haven in Colorado's flourishing legal pot market. Marijuana grown illegally in Colorado has been shipped to other states, where it can sell for more than double what it could in one of Colorado's legal pot shops.
