Murder will get you 10 years, child prostitution and drug use will get you 331 years.
From this article it sounds like the government considers prostitution and drug use worse the murder. Personally I thing the government priorities are all screw up. Also this seems to be mixing government and religion, since both the prostitution laws and drug laws were brought to us partly by Christian nut jobs who want to force their religious values on us at the point of a government gun. I consider prostitution and drug use both to be victimless crimes that should be legalized.
Man gets nearly 331 years in child prostitution case Associated Press 8:11 a.m. MST May 10, 2016 A Glendale man convicted in a child prostitution case has been sentenced to nearly 331 years in prison. Maricopa County prosecutors say 33-year-old Andre Antonio Adams was sentenced Monday. Adams was arrested in January 2015 and accused of causing two 15-year-old girls to engage in prostitution and providing them with drugs. A Superior Court jury found Adams guilty in March on 10 counts of child prostitution and two counts of transferring or selling drugs to a minor. Prosecutors say Adams has prior convictions for aggravated assault, conspiracy to commit sale of marijuana and possession of marijuana. |
