Keith Jensen doesn't get it!!!! The Founders gave us the Second Amendment so the people could kill government tyrants. And that includes police officers who keep the government tyrants in power.
If the police were here to protect and serve us they would be hunting down REAL criminals. Not shaking down people for victimless DUI crimes which are designed to raise money for our government masters and the cops. The same is true about cops who arrest people for victimless drug war crimes, which also are mostly about raising money for our government masters and creating jobs for the cops who wage the "War on Drugs", which is really a "War on the American People" and a "War on the Bill of Rights".
Letter: Where's the support for police officers? Keith Jensen 4:30 p.m. MST May 11, 2016 Several days ago a police officer was shot in a drive-by. Last month two officers were ambushed. And then we wonder why every so often an officer may use his or her weapon a little to quickly. [Yea, compare that to the thousands of unarmed civilians who were murdered by crooked cops, who claimed they had to kill the unarmed civilians because they "feared for their lives"] Every nutjob in the country can buy military-style rifles and pistols at a gun show with no checks at all. Buy thousands of rounds of ammo on the internet. But let police show up at a citywide riot with the same gear and hands are wrung that they are becoming militarized. [We are told the cops are here to protect us from criminals, not wage war on the American people. Sadly the police are armed to the teeth and seem more concerned about waging war on the American people, rather then protecting us from criminals] Our officers in blue are vilified by the press and groups in the street. Then the twisted and sick among us decide to kill them to be famous. Sure sometimes an officer will make a mistake under extreme pressure and only seconds to save lives. [Not a mistake, but THOUSANDS of mistakes!!!! Several times day A quick Google shows that 1140 people were murdered by the police in 2015] It is our officers in blue sworn to protect and serve who hold back the darkness of human nature.
