????????????????????

I sent this message to Alex today, Thursday, Feb 23, 2017. Mickey Jones Sorry for not answering sooner. I just got out of Facebook jail and could not. Thanks for searching for that Alex. I looked 2 days ago for the blurb about requiring a 75% vote to the board to kick a board member out and did not find it. I know I wrote it. I did find the part that said we need a super majority or 75% of the entire board to change the SOP or Standard Operating Procedures. I also wrote that. And I wrote both of them for the same reason. If we don't require a supermajority of all the board members to change the articles that govern Safer Arizona, a small group of board members could call a meeting and say have a vote of 3 to 2 and changed the rules for the rest of us. But with a super majority that can't happen. If 75 percent of the board members wanted to change the SOP, they could have a board meeting and would have to vote with 100% of the members present for changing the rules. The part I wrote about removing a board member was pretty much identical to the part about changing the SOP. And for the same reasons. If the super majority was not required then a small group of board members could have a board member, and vote to remove a board member they did not like. I suspect that David removed the text about a super majority being required to remove a board member. And that's what the 75% supermajority by the entire board is designed to prevent. Now the question is did David just remove the stuff about a 75% vote by the entire board because he wanted to boot me? Or did we have a board meeting and vote to change the SOP with the required 75% of the total board agreeing to allow the removal of board members with a simple majority vote at a board meeting? And if we did have such a meeting the changes would have had to been approved by a 75% vote of the entire board, or 9 members if the board is 12, or 12 members if the board is currently 15 members. I thought the board was a max of 12 members. The current stuff on the web page says 15. If that is true then David would need 12 votes to kick me off of the board, not the 9 I initially thought. I don't remember having any board meetings at Jerry's where we voted to change the SOP. Nor do I remember any board meetings on line where we voted to change the SOP. I know a day or two before David had me booted he posted something about changing the SOP. I didn't think anything of it because I didn't realize that the SOP is the same as the "articles that govern" the operation of Safer Arizona. Normally I would call the SOP the "articles of incorporations" or something like that. This is the first time I have heard SOP used in that context. I suspect that each time we change these rules the secretary of Safer Arizona is required to document the changes and post the updates. That would include the date the changes were made, who voted for them, and what the changes were. But I suspect David just does everything and anything he wants. After all he probably things that since he created Safer Arizona it is his group and he will run it as he damn well feels like running it. Now that would be OK, until he created the board and gave up his power to the board. I could not find any reference to who the secretary is in our group. Well other then that we are supposed to have a secretary. [I sent this message to Alex]
