This is on the subject of Tom Dean turning the Safer Arizona initiative into a clone of Prop 205. Well, this is really about Prop 203 and the silly 25 mile rule. It looks like the Safer Arizona rule making it illegal to sell or grow marijuana within 1000 feet of a school is a lot like the MPP or Marijuana Policy Project 25 mile rule in Prop 203. The intent in both is to prevent marijuana users from growing their own marijuana and force them to buy their marijuana from pot stores. Also both cases are a jobs program for cops. |
