It's time to toss US Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema out of office.

It's time to toss US Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema out of office.

Double talking liar and police state supporter Kyrsten Sinema has pretty much sold out everybody she claims to represent.

She claims to support legalizing marijuana, but when she was a member of the Arizona Legislator, to help her police union friends she tried to flush Arizona's Medical Marijuana Act down the toilet by writing a law that would have slapped a 300%, $900 an ounce tax on medical marijuana.

Kyrsten Sinema also also sold out the anti-war crowd and routinely votes for the military industrial complex.

Kyrsten Sinema has also sold out the atheist gang which she is one of. While Kyrsten Sinema is an atheist like me she seems to want to con Christian votes into thinking she is a Christian by implying she goes to church on her Congressional web page.

I'm not sure what she has done to p*ss off the gay gang, but all the gay people I know say Kyrsten Sinema has sold them out too. And Kyrsten Sinema is gay.

Kyrsten Sinema also supports the police state and is routinely backed by the police unions. And she pays back the police unions by voting for police state laws.

Personally I think Kyrsten Sinema is the WORST ELECTED OFFICIAL in the state of Arizona.

Our View: Vote Giles (but Sinema is still going to win)

Editorial board, The Republic | azcentral.com 6:42 a.m. MST August 29, 2016

Endorsement: Dave Giles is the slightly better of two weak Republicans running against formidable Democratic incumbent Kyrsten Sinema.

The 9th Congressional District in Maricopa County is almost evenly split among Republicans, Democrats and independents. It is one of the most competitive districts in the state.

So why does the Arizona GOP insist on keeping it in the hands of Democrats?

That’s what they’ve done with the candidates they’ve served up in this Republican Primary.

We like the two Republicans competing to challenge Kyrsten Sinema in the fall. They’re good guys. Cordial. Decent. Good company in a round of golf, we imagine.

But they’re not ready for prime time, and they can’t compete against a formidable Democratic opponent.

Sinema has evolved over the decades from a bomb-slinging street activist to a sophisticated, thoughtful leader who will not easily be supplanted. GOP candidates Dave Giles and John Agra are not the ones who will defeat her. Both are political neophytes who bring few ideas and even less ambition to the table.

Why are they even running?

2016 candidate endorsements from azcentral Running for Congress is a big deal. If you’re going to represent the people of this state in the nation’s capital, come prepared. Have a strong grasp of the issues and a well-defined vision of what you would accomplish.

We perceived little of this in Giles and Agra. In fact, we asked ourselves, why they are running?

Agra told us his top three issues are “the economy, the economy and the economy.” We asked him if could get specific. He asked us how much time we had. We had plenty of time. He didn’t need much. He could barely articulate a plan for growing jobs.

This is a relatively bright guy. A lawyer and former prosecutor. Surely he could have thought this through.

Because we consider it our duty to make a choice, we recommend Giles to the voters as the better candidate. His extensive business career working in the energy industry in the Middle East gives him an interesting breadth of experience that we suppose would be useful in Congress.

He is conservative on immigration, but not predictably so. He would work to secure the border but recognizes the need to respect the immigrant population and reach out to Latino voters.

In the Republican Primary for District 9, The Arizona Republic endorses Dave Giles. But understand, this primary could easily be relabeled “The Full-Employment Act for Kyrsten Sinema.”
