That's what I always thought Fascism was, the mixing of government and business. But when ever I looked it up in a dictionary he didn't say that. I guess this post explains why.
In fact I have written several letters to the editor where I used that definition of Fascism, and people attacked me saying my definition was wrong.
Benito Mussolini created the world "fascism". He defined it as the "merging of the state and the corporation". This was the definition in Webster's up until 1987 when a corporation bought Webster's and changed it to exclude any mention of corporations". Adam McKay |
