ACLU wants to flush 1st & 2nd Amendments down the toilet!!!!

I don't like the ACLU because they want to flush the 2nd Amendment down the toilet

One of the reasons I don't like the ACLU is because they want to flush the 2nd Amendment down the toilet. And flush parts of the 1st Amendment down the toilet too.

Here are some comments from Robert Unferth which show us that the ACLU wants to flush both the 2nd and 1st Amendments down the toilet.

This Robert Unferth guy sounds like a clone of Jennifer White who is the wife of Zenido Quintana the whom I think is one of the big wigs that run the Arizona ACLU.

Mickey Jones And here in Arizona, the ARIZONA ACLU seems to want to flush the 1st Amendment rights of Christians down the toilet.

Robert Unferth 100 million deaths vs some character's oddball idea of sin. Not a hard choice.

Mickey Jones Government tyrants always use lame excuses like that to flush the Constitution down the toilet. Again that's why I don't like the ACLU anymore. They are just Democrats who support BIG government. and could care less about people rights.

Mickey Jones But the ACLU wants to flush your Second Amendment rights to own guns down the toilet.

Roosevelt Blackshear Not true!

Mickey Jones All the ALCU member I know do. Jennifer White is certainly anti-gun. And I suspect her husband Zenido Quintana who runs the Arizona ACLU is certainly anti-gun.

Mickey Jones They also both seem against the 1st Amendment and want to force Christians to do things the Christians consider to be a sin. Such as forcing a Christian business that thinks birth control is a sin to prove contraceptives for their employees. Or forcing Christians that think being gay is a sin to bake a cake for a gay wedding. The Arizona ACLU seems to be an arm of the Arizona Democratic Party, rather then a group that supports the Bill of Rights.

Robert Unferth If you're in business, you can't refuse service to a member of the public because he or she is Black, a Jew, a woman, a man, a Lutheran, an Irish American, an inrter-racial couple...

Some states and other local governments have extended that protection to gays and lesbians. The First Amendment states: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."

Free exercise doesn't mean engaging in human sacrifice, polygamy or invidious discrimination against protected classes including Blacks, Jews, Lutherans, men and women. Adding gays to the list hardly seems to signal any opposition to that Amendment.

Robert Unferth Second Amendment rights flushed down the toilet only to the extent permitted by the Constitution as interpreted by the Supreme Court and as enacted by the various legislative and executive branches of government.

Long overdue in light of the fact that the US.is the only country in the world that has massacres on a regular basis. And also has 5½ times the median number of privately held guns as other developed countries and 5 times the murder rate.

Mickey Jones That doesn't justify the ACLU's position that a Christian who think birth control is a sin to be forced by the government to do something which is against their religion.

Mickey Jones The same is true with the ACLU wanting to force Christians who think vaccines are the tools of the devil to get a vaccine.

Mickey Jones Robert Unferth - But that doesn't justify the ALCU wanting to flush the 2nd Amendment down the toilet. The Second Amendment is here so we can kill government tyrants.

Robert Unferth Mickey Jones People who don't get vaccinated have the potential to kill many thousands of people and seriously damage thousands of others. Before vaccines, the Spanish influenza infected 500 million people and resulted in the deaths of 50 to 100 million - 3 to 5% of the world's population.

Someone's oddball conception of sin doesn't entitle him or her to subject the rest of us to that kind of risk.

Mickey Jones Yea, that's true. But that's just a lame excuse to flush the 1st Amendment down the toilet. It sounds like the ACLU has turned into an arm of the Democratic party. And that is why I DISLIKE the ACLU. You are not about protecting the BILL of RIGHTS, You want to shove the values of the Democratic Party down our throats at gun point.

Mickey Jones Robert Unferth - I'm sure you will always have a lame excuse flush the Bill of Rights down the toilet and force the values of the Democratic party down our throats at gun point. Again that's why I don't support the ACLU anymore.

Robert Unferth Mickey Jones "lame excuse" ??? Only 98 years ago we didn't have vaccines for the flu, but we did have 50+ million dead people. That 50+ million lame excuses.

In 2015, 189 people in the US were reported to have measles. In 2014, the United States experienced a record number of measles cases, with 667 cases reported; this is the greatest number of cases since measles elimination was documented in the U.S. in 2000.

The majority of people who got measles were unvaccinated. Measles is still common in many parts of the world including some countries in Europe, Asia, the Pacific, and Africa. Travelers with measles continue to bring the disease into the U.S. Measles can spread when it reaches a community in the U.S. where groups of people are unvaccinated.

But babies under a year and certain others cannot be vaccinated. Measles in incredibly infectious. The parents are forced to reply on the vaccination behavior of the rest of the population.

As many as one out of every 20 children with measles gets pneumonia, the most common cause of death from measles in young children. About one child out of every 1,000 who get measles will develop encephalitis (swelling of the brain) that can lead to convulsions and can leave the child deaf or with intellectual disability. For every 1,000 children who get measles, one or two will die from it. Measles may cause pregnant woman to give birth prematurely, or have a low-birth-weight baby.

What kind of religion deliberately puts babies at risk of pneumonia, encephalitis and death? Not one that deserves a lot of protection from the 1st Amendment.

Mickey Jones Perhaps instead of giving a whole slew of lame excuses on why the ACLU doesn't support the Bill of Rights you could just list all the Amendments which the ACLU doesn't support and why. And get the ACLU to stop giving us the line of BS that you support the Bill of Rights.

Mickey Jones Robert Unferth - That's still a lame excuse on why the 1st Amendment of religious freedom should be flushed down the toilet.

Mickey Jones I don't want any government *sshole flushing the Bill of Rights down the toilet, and I don't want any ACLU *ssholes flushing the Bill of Rights down the toilet. s You're pretty much proving my point that the ACLU doesn't support the Bill of Rights.
